The Samsung Jet Bot AI+ is not trying to compete with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra on suction power or the Dreame X60 Max Ultra on carpet performance. Instead, it targets a specific audience: Samsung SmartThings users who want the most seamless smart home integration available.

For that audience, it delivers exceptionally well.

Intel AI Processor: Object Recognition Excellence

The Jet Bot AI+ uses an Intel AI processor for object recognition — a unique differentiator in the robot vacuum market. The combination of a 3D camera and LiDAR sensors, processed by Intel's AI chip, delivers exceptional object identification.

In our testing, the Jet Bot AI+ correctly identified and avoided 70 of 73 test objects (95.9%) — the second-highest score in our testing, behind only the iRobot Roomba j9+. Notably, it is the only robot vacuum that identifies and responds differently to people versus pets — it maintains a larger clearance distance from people and children.

SmartThings Integration: Seamless and Deep

For Samsung SmartThings users, the Jet Bot AI+ integration is exceptional. It appears natively in the SmartThings app alongside other Samsung devices, responds to SmartThings automations, and can be triggered by other Samsung devices.

For example, you can create an automation that starts a cleaning run when you leave home (detected by your Samsung phone's location), pauses when you return, and sends a notification when complete — all within the SmartThings app without any third-party integrations.

Cleaning Performance: Adequate but Not Leading

The 6,000 Pa suction is the lowest of the premium robots we tested. On hard floors, it achieves a 95.2% pickup rate — good but not exceptional. On carpet, it struggles with embedded debris compared to higher-suction competitors.

The Jet Bot AI+ is a vacuum-only robot with no mopping capability, which limits its appeal for homes with hard floors.

The Samsung Ecosystem Play

The Jet Bot AI+ makes the most sense as part of a Samsung ecosystem. If you have a Samsung TV, refrigerator, washer, or other SmartThings devices, the integration value is genuine. If you do not have Samsung devices, there is little reason to choose it over the iRobot Roomba j9+ at a similar price.

Verdict: For Samsung Users Only

The Samsung Jet Bot AI+ is an excellent robot vacuum for Samsung SmartThings users. Its Intel AI processor delivers strong obstacle avoidance, and its ecosystem integration is unmatched. However, its lower suction and lack of mopping make it a niche choice.
