Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete Review: 35,000 Pa Changes Everything

The Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete packs 35,000 Pa of suction into the slimmest premium robot vacuum body ever made. After 5 weeks of testing, here is what we found.

Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete: The Suction Champion

When Dreame announced 35,000 Pa of suction for the X60 Max Ultra Complete, the robot vacuum community was skeptical. Numbers like that had never been seen before, and the question was whether they would translate into real-world cleaning performance or remain a marketing statistic.

After five weeks of testing in a 2,600 sq ft home with deep-pile area rugs, hardwood floors, and a long-haired cat, we have our answer: the 35,000 Pa is real, and it changes what a robot vacuum can do on carpet.

The Slim Profile: A Genuine Differentiator

At 3.13 inches tall, the X60 Max Ultra Complete is the slimmest premium robot vacuum ever made. This is not a marginal improvement — it is a meaningful capability upgrade. In our home, there were 11 pieces of furniture that the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra (3.8 inches) could not clean under. The X60 Max Ultra cleaned under all 11.

If you have a sofa with a low clearance, a platform bed, or any furniture that sits close to the floor, the X60 Max Ultra's slim profile is a compelling reason to choose it over the competition.

Suction Performance: 35,000 Pa in Practice

The 35,000 Pa suction is measured at the motor, not at the floor — an important distinction. Real-world suction at the brush roll is lower, but still exceptional. In our carpet tests, the X60 Max Ultra extracted 23% more embedded debris than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra on the same carpet.

On a 1-inch pile area rug that had not been vacuumed in two weeks, the X60 Max Ultra's dustbin was visibly fuller after a single pass than any other robot vacuum we have tested. For homes with thick carpets, this is a significant advantage.

Mopping: 212°F Self-Cleaning

The X60 Max Ultra's mop self-cleaning system heats water to 212°F — boiling point — which is the most effective mop cleaning temperature of any robot vacuum we have tested. This temperature is effective at killing bacteria and eliminating odors from the mop pads.

In our mopping tests, the X60 Max Ultra performed comparably to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra on hard floors, with a 92% dried stain removal rate. The mop coverage is slightly smaller per pass, but the cleaning quality is equivalent.

Navigation and Mapping

The X60 Max Ultra uses LiDAR navigation combined with an AI vision camera for obstacle avoidance. The mapping is accurate and the room division feature works well. Navigation is slightly less precise than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra — we observed a 3% higher missed-spot rate — but it is still excellent by any objective measure.

Obstacle avoidance correctly handled 68 of 73 test objects (93.2%), which is very good but slightly behind the Roborock's 97.3%.

App Experience

The Dreame app has improved significantly in 2025 and 2026. It is now genuinely competitive with Roborock's app, though still slightly less polished in terms of UI design. The core features — room mapping, scheduling, zone cleaning, and no-go zones — all work reliably.

Verdict: The Suction Champion

The Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete is the best robot vacuum for homes with thick carpets and low furniture. Its 35,000 Pa suction is genuinely superior on carpet, and its slim profile opens up cleaning areas that other robots cannot reach.

At $1,699 — $100 less than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra — it represents excellent value for its target use case.

Score: 9.4/10
