#1 iRobot App (9.5/10)

The iRobot app is the most polished and user-friendly. Setup takes under 10 minutes, the interface is intuitive for all ages, and the Imprint Smart Mapping system is the most accurate we tested. The app has the fewest crashes and connection issues of any robot vacuum app.

#2 Roborock App (9.2/10)

The Roborock app is the most feature-rich. Room-specific settings, zone cleaning, cleaning history, and advanced scheduling are all accessible and well-designed. The map quality is excellent, and the Matter integration works reliably.

#3 Dreame App (8.5/10)

The Dreame app has improved significantly in 2025-2026. Core features work reliably, and the UI design is clean. Some advanced features are buried in menus, and we experienced occasional connection issues.

#4 Ecovacs App (8.2/10)

The Ecovacs app is functional but occasionally buggy. We experienced two app crashes during our testing period, and some firmware updates caused temporary feature regressions.

#5 Samsung SmartThings (8.8/10 for Samsung users, 6.0/10 for non-Samsung users)

The Samsung integration is exceptional within the SmartThings ecosystem but limited outside of it.

#6 Narwal App (7.8/10)

The Narwal app is functional but the least polished of the premium robot vacuum apps. The interface design feels dated, and some features require too many taps to access.
